Who We Are

We are Sentinel Alcohol Detox, an independent directory of licensed alcohol detox and rehab facilities across the United States. Our job is to help you find real, licensed help near you quickly, especially on a bad night when you need an answer fast. We are not a treatment center ourselves and we do not provide medical care.

If you ever want to reach us directly, you can call our free, confidential helpline at (877) 712-7713, or visit us at https://sentinelalcoholdetox.com.

Where Information Comes From

The facility information you see here comes from publicly available government records, including the California Department of Health Care Services' list of licensed substance use disorder recovery and treatment facilities. We check facility names, addresses, and licensing details against those public records rather than taking a facility's own marketing at face value. Details can change, so before you commit to anything, confirm hours, availability, cost, and insurance coverage directly with the facility you are considering.

Website Analytics

We keep analytics simple. We use basic website analytics to understand which pages people find useful, so we can improve the directory. We do not sell your browsing information, and we do not run advertising trackers that follow you around the internet.

If you are worried about someone seeing that you visited a detox website, most browsers offer a private or incognito mode, and clearing your history after browsing is always an option too.

Phone Calls and Your Privacy

If you call a facility through a number found here, the phone conversation is between you and that facility. We are not on the line and do not hear, record, or store those calls. When you call our own helpline at (877) 712-7713, the conversation is confidential, but we want to be straight with you: we are a directory, not a medical provider, so we cannot give medical advice or diagnosis over the phone.

If someone is shaking badly, hallucinating, confused, or having a seizure while coming off alcohol, that is a medical emergency. Call 911 or get to the nearest emergency room right away, before worrying about insurance or anything else.
